Key Responsibilities

The Escrow Officer will manage all closing and funding tasks, including:

CD Balancing & Preparation

• Balance the final Closing Disclosure (CD) with the lender
• Review lender instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Ensure all fees, receipts, and disbursements are properly reflected

Closing Package Preparation

• Prepare closing documents and packages for buyer, seller, and lender
• Confirm the register is fully balanced prior to funding
• Provide final funding-ready signoff after review of all documents

Funding & Post-Closing

• Coordinate with lenders and settlement agents for wire receipt and funding approval
• Deliver complete closing packages for recording and post-closing processing
• Maintain consistent communication with all parties to ensure a smooth, timely closing

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Experience as an Escrow Officer/Processor/Closer required
• Experience with national title insurance files strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of CDs, ledgers, lender instructions, and disbursement workflows
• Excellent communication skills with a commitment to delivering fast, accurate customer service
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple closing files in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with SoftPro is a plus
