Marc Shaw is the CEO and founder of World Wide Land Transfer (WWLT), a full-service national title insurance and settlement provider. Since starting the company in 2004, he has grown the business from a regional agency into a nationwide company capable of handling complex commercial deals and high-volume residential settlements.
Under his leadership, World Wide Land Transfer has made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies six times and has been recognized twice as an Inc. Power Partner. Marc is also an Inc. contributor and a member of the Forbes Real Estate Council, where he writes on innovation, technology, and leadership in the real estate sector.
Marc is a practicing attorney admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. This legal background helps him navigate the strict regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the title insurance industry.
His strategy for WWLT focuses on balancing two main areas:
He is also a strong advocate for technology in the real estate sector. Instead of sticking strictly to legacy methods, Marc integrates automation and modern software into title operations to improve efficiency, protect data, and protect clients from real estate fraud, including wire fraud, a growing threat in real estate transactions.
Marc’s view is that as AI makes answers increasingly abundant, the real value shifts to judgment and trust, the things technology can’t replace. That philosophy drives WWLT’s approach. Most recently, Marc and his team have been building a custom MCP server on top of the company’s core production platform, enabling AI-driven workflows across title operations and an agent-to-agent network designed to bring AI directly into the closing process.
